Day Cream
Let me tell you the story of Satin Skin. Because my skin is very dry and sensitive I have always used Eternal Youth and Beauty, using just a light amount in the morning. But a few friends and patients begged me to make them a light cream they could lavish on in the morning and put under their make up.
Since I love playing with lotions and potions I obliged, and Satin Skin soon developed a following of fans.
I had an assistant who was particularly fond of Satin Skin, she went abroad for a year and when she came back she helped me make a batch. When the jars were all filled, there was still quite a lot of cream in the manufacturing tub. She took off her clothes and lathered it all over herself: “Ah! She said, this is better than sex! You can always get a boyfriend, but it is so hard to get a good moisturiser!”
Satin Skin is an emulsion, which means that is uses both aqueous cream with herbal extracts and vegetable oil with essential oils. The oil in Satin Skin is Jojoba, which is why it is a non-greasy cream but penetrates beautifully. Satin Skin also contains a small amount of clay, which contributes to its protective effect.
If you are using a sun block use it over your day cream.
Ingredients: Aqueous cream, Jojoba oil, Emulsifying wax, Pink clay, Cleavers extract, Lavender, Sandalwood
