Night Cream

This is the first ointment I ever created, back in 1978 when I was just a student. I was then a mere 30 years old and I decided I was going to make myself a night cream that would make me keep my gorgeous complexion for…ever! (go on, check the photo!) At first I selfishly kept it to myself and gradually I made it available to other mortals.

It’s worked for me! It has remained the same formula for the past 30 years. Well, almost. The original formula because of its oil content would go liquid in the summer and had to be kept in the fridge. I got a lot of whingeing from women who hated going to the kitchen after they had their shower at night, so I substituted 10% of the oils for cocoa butter and presto! No more liquid stuff.
